To promote community health, social justice and human rights related to the provision and distribution of health care services to the under privileged and economically weaker section of the society. Some of the specific objectives are:

To collaborate with other health agencies working in the state to ensure conservation of resources and coverage of public health.

To collect, exchange and disseminate health information as well as to do research.
To conduct training programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences etc. related to health and development work.
To promote rational drug therapy.
To promote alternative system of health care.
To promote working with committed, dedicated, and interested people of good will of all religions and communities.
To promote educational understanding in communities to improve the quality of their lives by development of local human and material resources.
To promote school health programme.
To present voluntary health services in different states, national and international level.
To promote collective action for community health and development.
To undertake any other act, which will promote health status of the state.
